Packing the necessary medical and hygiene items for people around the world
First and foremost,

Your gift of time today will impact children, families, and communities who have lost everything due to natural disasters, conflict, or disease, individuals who need medical and hygiene supplies, and your encouragement, thoughts, and a virtual hug.
The experience
Today, you’ll be putting together Disaster Relief packs. The supplies you’re providing are challenging to access in the communities receiving these packs, especially during times of disaster. Each pack will have the necessary supplies to help medical professionals provide care. People are always moved that someone across the globe has thought about them and given them a pack of much-needed supplies.

Step 1: Get organized
Start by unpacking your box and sorting the items by type. Use the included markers to decorate your bags; have fun with them! Positive or neutral designs like stars, hearts, and uplifting words are encouraged. These personal touches make each pack unique and special. We can’t wait to see your creativity in action!
Step 2: Add all the items to each bag

Note: If you have any extra items, please keep them for yourself or discard them. Putting extras in the packs creates more work for the response staff.
Step 4: Photo time
Take a photo of yourself with your completed packs and share the experience with your friends and family. This is an opportunity to spread awareness and share the act of kindness. Be sure to tag WeHero when you post on social media!

Step 5: Re-box and apply the shipping label
Using the original box everything came in, add the completed packs, and reseal the box. Attach the prepaid shipping label and schedule your USPS pickup. You can also drop your box off at your local post office. To schedule your pickup, simply use the following link and follow the steps: www.wehero.co/pick-up/
Note: If the system asks for weight, you can enter 6 pounds and the shipping provider will update the weight automatically.
