Thank you. We are passionate about supporting those with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. We believe that providing them with the resources, support, and services they need to live fulfilling and purposeful lives is essential. One of the ways that we can help these individuals is through music therapy. Music therapy is the clinical use of music to accomplish individualized goals, such as reducing stress and improving mood and self-expression. Instruments can be a tool to help individuals work on their cognition, communication, comprehension, focus, and fine motor skills.
Instructions
We provide musical instruments to individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. At the end of this session, the instruments are returned to WeHero to then go to our partners!

Step 1: Time to decorate your instrument
Let's make music fun! Draw on the instruments with the markers we’ve included (it is easier to design prior to the build!). Your pictures, quotes, signatures, etc., make each instrument different and unique. We can’t wait to see what you create!

Step 3: Shipping and return
Using the original box everything came in, add the completed tambourines and reseal. Attach the prepaid shipping label and schedule your USPS pickup. You can also drop your box off at your local post office. To schedule your pickup, simply use the following link and follow the steps: www.wehero.co/pick-up/
Note: If the system asks for weight, you can enter 6 pounds and the shipping provider will update the weight automatically.
Step 4: Photo time!
Take a photo of yourself with your completed tambourines and share the experience with your friends and family. Use the opportunity to spread awareness and share this act of kindness. Be sure to tag WeHero and Thrivent when you post on social media!
